Past patients tell about shopping, travel and foods in Hungary
Did you find the same brands as home?
“Yes, there is TESCO, and Aldi, Lidl and also SPAR. There is DM which is like Boots. Near the clinic, there is a shopping center called Westend, where you can find everything you need. Most shops are open longer, and even some are open 24/7 which is very convenient.”

Is the food different?
“I noticed Hungarians eat a lot of pastry. There are these small window shops where you can buy both sweet and savory cakes. There is a huge market called ”Lehel” very close to the clinic. I recommend you visit it at least once. There are many kebab and gyros places, which are well worth trying.” Geoff (50), London Click for more Hungarian food
How to get around in the city?
“For the appointments the clinic arranged pickup but we discovered quite a bit of the city on our own. My wife bought a city pass for 3 days which was approx 35GBP. The city center is not so big, but if you want to cross the river and go up the castle you need to take a bus.” Jan (70), Dusseldorf Click for tickets and fares
